Lucia is the Co-founder and EVP of CafeMom’s MamásLatinas, a bilingual online destination that launched January 2012, dedicated to understanding, connecting, entertaining and empowering Latina moms by super-serving their culturally unique interests and needs. At the core of MamásLatinas is a dynamic community offering and engaging and targeted editorial content.

Lucia brings her 25 years of experience in Hispanic media, and has been at the helm of leading Hispanic media brands such as Univision’s Galavision, MTV Tr3s and most recently People en Español, the largest selling Hispanic magazine in the United States.

Lucia was named a “Media All Star” by Adweek’s Marketing y Medios, and was profiled in The Hollywood Reporter’s “Latino Power 50″ list. Lucia currently serves on the board of the Hispanic Federation, and is a Commissioner of Mayor Bloomberg’s Latin Media Entertainment and Media Commission.

Ana Roca Castro is currently the CEO of Plaza Familia—the first bilingual education platform that engages educators, parents and learners in the curriculum co-creation process. This is done with authoring tools, gaming features, and online tutoring.

Ana is also the founder of LATISM (Latinos in Tech Innovation and Social Media). LATISM is a non-profit organization that empowers the Latino community in the areas of education, health, technology and business through the use of tech innovation and social media.
